Donk was born in Morocco and somehow ended up at a horse shelter. He wasn't entirely happy there, missing the company of other donkeys, and kept escaping to join some donkeys in the neighbouring village. When our founders were looking for a companion for Molly, that's how they found Donk. It was love at first sight. They've been inseparable ever since: Donk always roams free, because wherever Molly goes, Donk goes — and he's never tried to escape again.
