A safe place for the ones nobody else protected
Since we started, we've rescued dozens of donkeys and horses from abandonment, abuse, and neglect. We give them veterinary care, a safe environment, and above all time — the time they need to learn to trust again. None of it would be possible without the people who decide to join this herd.

These are our most pressing needs this season — big or small, every contribution counts.
Podiatric treatment for Luna
Luna needs several sessions of specialized hoof care. Estimated cost: €480. Any contribution helps cover it.
Winter feed stock
We need to secure hay and feed for the whole herd before the cold sets in. Every sack counts.
Estrella
The youngest of the herd. Estrella needs urgent dental treatment before she can feed normally — any help with her sponsorship makes a difference.
Luna
Luna arrived malnourished and wary after years of neglect. Today she's the first to greet you at the fence — but her hooves need a long treatment we're still funding.
Olaf
Olaf, around 6 years old, is Sven's little brother. He arrived with severely deformed hooves and is still very fearful — he still has to learn that he's safe now.
Sven
Sven and his little brother Olaf arrived with hooves so deformed it's a miracle they can walk. Sven, around 10 years old, is surprisingly affectionate despite everything he's been through.
